This delicious canape makes use of the holy trio: pear, goat's cheese and honey. The sweet pear and honey against the fresh and citrus goat's cheese finished off with the crunchy nutty walnuts. A match made in heaven.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 conference pears
- 100g of grated Quicke’s Goats Cheese
- Honey
- 20g crushed walnuts
METHOD
- Heat the oven to 180c
- Cut the pears lengthways as a cross-section, creating 1cm thick slices of pear
- Place on a buttered ovenproof dish and roast for 8 minutes
- Once the pears are starting to soften, sprinkle the grated goat's cheese on top and finish under the grill until they start to golden
- To serve, drizzle with honey and scatter with crush walnuts
